Is this still valid? Are there any packages that depends on "libusb"? I think they have all been fixed to depend on libusb-0.1-4.
Also, libusb-1.0 is not compatible with the 0.x versions so it can not provide their functionality. There is an upstream libusb-compat wrapper around 1.0 which gives 0.x compatibility but it is not included in Debian or Ubuntu (yet). ** Changed in: libusb (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: libusb-1.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191562 Title: provides libusb To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libusb/+bug/191562/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
