My /home is on the local harddisk. I just have an NFS share mounted in /mnt/ which blocks pm-suspend.
I confirm the findings of Chris: the NetworkManager disconnects too early. If suspend has been blocked I am always able to login and enter "sudo service network-manager restart". Then sleep continues successfully and also resume works as expected! Adding "umount /mnt/my-nfs-share" to the scripts in usr/lib/pm- utils/sleep.d/ works but does not solve the blocking. I guess Networkmanager gets detached via dbus before these scripts are executed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792007 Title: natty suspend & hibernate hang with nfs home directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/792007/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
