I am new to testing Ubuntu alpha, but this is what I did: Downloaded the Alpha 3 release of Oneiric Ocelot, burned it to a dvd-rw and booted the laptop with it. LW153 plugged in during boot. Connected to my wireless network.
lsusb now lists the lw153 as `Bus 001 Device 002: ID 177f:0153 Sweex LW153 802.11n Adapter [ralink rt3070]` lsmod lists rt2800usb for it, but as I understand that module should also support the rt3070 so that's fine. I've not been disconnected from the network yet. +/- 20 minutes. It seems to work fine. I see the bug report is incomplete.
