Hi Arnaud, I have the MGE AVR UPS (running on USB). I have conversed with you in the past regarding packages for managing this UPS under linux, however, I recently found out that g-p-m should manage it all just fine too.
The problem is, it seems as though my UPS is suffering from the same issue as you noted above. I have attached lsusb and lshal output for your perusal.
