- random points in time. The image remains on the screen, but the keyboard

+ Ubuntu 11.04 64bit on a Fujitsu Lifebook T901 is completely unreliable.
+ I have encountered the following system problems, at least one of them
+ happens almost every day.

+ 1. Random system crashes. The image remains on the screen, the keyboard and 
mouse stop working, and the hard drive stops spinning.
+ 2. System fails to resume from suspend. The computer turns on to display a 
blank screen, and then nothing happens.
+ 3. System runs at constant hard drive usage, the mouse lags, and panels, etc. 
stop working entirely. A separate terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F1) runs, but with 
intensive lag. (See comment and kernel log).
  
  I haven't yet been able to guess what the problem is. Some suspicious kernel
