Public bug reported: After installing Ubuntu / Lubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 from Ubiquity / Alternative methods, the following files are missing:
/usr/src/linux-headers-3.0.0.9/KBuild /usr/src/linux-headers-3.0.0.9/KConfig /usr/src/linux-headers-3.0.0.9/Makefile Even though the linux-header* packages are installed. As a result, any compilation of kernel module projects would fail. The only workaround I have so far: sudo apt-get remove linux-headers-3.0.0.9 sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` NB: this bug has appeared and disappeared momentarily around Alpha 3, and has now come back to haunt us ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840512 Title: Files missing from package linux-headers-3.0.0.9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/840512/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
