I upgraded to 11.10 beta. Upon the first reboot, all was fine.
Eventually, I lost the button panel to the left and rebooted. It's gone
for good. Hitting the Super key or Alt+F2 does nothing. All I have is a
Nautilus menu bar. No status icons either.
