Public bug reported:
The hp-setup program won't start up under Oneiric Beta 1. I've tried
under gdm and lightdp, though I doubt it matters (it behaves the same in
any case).
When I run it from the command line, the terminal window will fill with
messages like:
(Python:6905): GTK_CRITICAL **: IF_gdk_widget_style_get: assertion
'GTK_IS_WIDGET(Widget)' failed
After a long time it will bring up a window but it will be transparent
except for the frame and title bar. The system at this point becomes
unresponsive; I have to forcibly reboot the system.
