Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
Hello, When a sound buffer underrun occurs, volume spikes to 100% briefly when it recovers. This can be physically painful when using headphones :) You can reproduce this by, for example, playing music over sshfs on a laggy wireless connection. I'm using a custom-compiled kernel, but I've applied no additional patches. I'll attach my .config and lspci -vv shortly (note that I've enabled libata for PATA devices to workaround a bug the normal PATA stuff has with my hardware.) ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- snd-hda-intel: when an audio buffer underrun occurs, volume spikes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112375 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
