I confirm this bug on feisty and blender 2.43-0ubuntu3, using an intel 945G chipset : blender crashes on the second time I quit the game mode. Note that this bug doesn't happen with the package from blender.org (http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.43/blender-2.43-linux- glibc232-py24-i386.tar.bz2).
