Similar problem here with Kubuntu Feisty I have a USB external HD with two partitions: 1) ext3 and 2) used to be FAT32 and now is NTFS.
Before converting to NTFS, both partitions were recognized and automatically mounted. Just after converting the second partition to NTFS, both are detected when plug-in but only ext3 partition is automatically mounted. NTFS partitions can be manually mounted without further problems (reading and writing are ok for any user) Also, it works perfectly under XP (both partitions are recognized and work without problems, using the driver for extfs in Windows) -- [feisty] some usb mass storage devices aren't shown when plugged in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103520 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
