KuriKai, thanks for your report, and sorry for the very slow response. I am unable to reproduce this problem in software-center trunk in Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1. I switched to the "High Contrast" theme, but saw the exact opposite of this bug, which I reported as bug 844814. (While doing that, I also discovered and reported bug 844807.) I tried installing dark themes from gnome-themes-extras, but none of them showed up as options in gnome-tweak-tool.
If we can't reproduce the problem it's unlikely that we can fix it. So if the problem still occurs for you, please provide instructions on how to set up that theme. Thanks. ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/652604 Title: dark text on dark background using dark background white text theme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/652604/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
