Thanks! Could you verify that these files have not been corrupted:

$ md5sum /usr/share/alsa/cards/USB-Audio.conf
9102380f58fddfe5a64dacff99dc80fc  /usr/share/alsa/cards/USB-Audio.conf

$ md5sum /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf
e318aeef8a73cfb43bf625a777cf0874  /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf

If the results of these terminal commands are not the same on your 
machine, please try reinstalling libasound2. Thanks!
