Sorry! There were two issues here.

1. The black background is fixed in a recent nux revision. This was just some 
backwards thinking on my part.
2. The resizing, I thought it would look strange to stretch widescreen icons 
out of their native aspect resolution so the code uses the aspect ratio and the 
same width as the dash. Maybe it should just be resized to square though? 
Anyone have any comments on this?
