Bug still exists on linux-headers-3.0.0-10 It is observed that whenever the Ubiquity installer is out-of-date, i.e. it bundles an earlier version of linux-headers than in the software centre, I would have no problem building kernel modules simply by installing:
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` Once Ubiquity is updated to the latest linux-headers, I will need to use the workaround: sudo apt-get install linux-headers-3.0.0-10 sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840512 Title: Files missing from package linux-headers-3.0.0.9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/840512/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
