Why no one handles this bugs. It is a critical bug for me: laptop without wifi, unaceptable. I may have no choice but to abandon kubuntu.

Downgrade to linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic and linux-firmware _1.38.6, which are present in mavarick, _does not solve this bug_, while there is no such bug under maverick.
