Public bug reported:

This is with release version of Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal

I started copying some files from network PC to a local folder on
desktop 2. Then I went back to desktop 1 opened my home folder.

However when the window opened I could not click on any files or scroll
the window, it appeared to be frozen. I could still use the
file/edit/view navigation menu. I opened a few other folders and the
same thing was happening.

I then released that on desktop 2 there was a file operations dialog
open asking if I'd like to merge 2 folders with the same name. I didn't
think dialogs on another desktop should freeze up folder browsing on any
other desktop, as to me it appeared as though the folders system had
completely stopped working. It also gave no indication that the file
merge dialog was what was stopping the window from being useable.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
