As a dedicated terminal user I assure you I can appreciate your desire for this, but I want to stress didrock's point "We don't reallly want to create a VTE". And I mean that seriously enough that I don't want to accept patches that takes Alt-F2 closer to a terminal. Very soon we'll need support for "for", "if/else", piping and what not.
A "Run in Terminal" that pops up whenever your command becomes non- trivial (or always?) is a good solution though - so patches welcome for that. ** Changed in: unity-lens-applications Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix ** Changed in: unity Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/790832 Title: alt+f2 doesn't understand semi-colons To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/790832/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
