Public bug reported: This one might be a duplicate of Bug #22846. It's still annoying though:
In Feisty (but it connects also with Edgy) if you enter the system- settings applet, there are several windows out there, which are simply nearly unusable for lower resolutions users, I'm using 1024x768 and i have to scroll the windows content every time i want to install a language support, or change the mouse settings etc. It isn't very comfortable, but there's a plenty of free, unused space on these forms which - i think - can be used smartly. Couldn't these windows be shrinked a bit so as to make users use them without scrolling and scrolling again? It seems it's everything allright with it in kcontrol, but why not in systemsettings? ** Affects: kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Kubuntu system settings applet uncomfortable for 1024*768 users https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112682 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
