I am using Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 with unity 4.14.2-0ubuntu2
To reproduce this bug:
1.Bring up the Dash.
2. Test it is working by searching for a program, e.g. "app" for Appearance.
3. Close and open the Dash again, then select "More Apps".
4. Select "Filter Results".
5. Select at least three filters.
6. Close the dash.
7. Open the Dash and search for a program as in step 2. You should see it
offers results from "Files & Folders" only. If nothing is found in Files &
Folders, the Dash remains blank.
I have been able to replicate this in the Guest Session too.
