Hi Ian, I'm a Shotwell dev and I'm trying to reproduce and diagnose your problem. Could you email me the JPEG files you were trying to export (I'm lucas at yorba.org)? What's more, if you can reliably reproduce this problem, could you repro it with Shotwell logging turned on? Doing this is easy. Just run shotwell from the command line as "SHOTWELL_LOG=1 shotwell" and Shotwell will generate a log file at ~/.cache/shotwell/shotwell.log. Once you've got the log, could you post it as an attachment to this ticket? The last thing that would help would be for us to get a look at your Shotwell database -- that's where Shotwell stores all the tag, title, and other metadata information that it writes out to files on export. Your Shotwell database is located at ~/.shotwell/data/photo.db. If you could email that to me, that would also be helpful.
