I'm sorry, but I can not reproduce this bug anymore. I had Ubuntu 11.04 installed on a primary partition, then I needed that partition and reinstalled Ubuntu 11.04 on a logical partition. This time the Unity works well. I still strugle with my old problems - my headphones, my card reader and the video projector don't work, but I guess that is not a bug - it's just an incompatibility between the operational system and my machine.
