Binary package hint: galternatives
A click on Galternatives > About gives description of the program and a
copyright notice. Nothing about how to work the application, if changing
priorities is a good/bad thing or the way to use the tool effectively.
The man page for galternatives is also pretty scant in this regard. Also
saw in /usr/share/documentation & there is nothing besides the usual
changelog.
