Have: Ubuntu Festy + Beryl with nVidia. Problem: Black screen on second log in after switch users.
Fix (for me?..): 1. run beryl-settings -> General Options -> General Options -> Main -> uncheck 'Sync To VBlank' 2. use option --force-nvidia for starting beryl (this can setup in beryl-manager) P.S.
