Public bug reported: I installed Anki from the Ubuntu Software Center, and launching it freezes the desktop or causes the window manager to crash. This didn't happen using Anki 1.2.8 in Natty.
I got the bug to happen in a 32-bitfresh install of Oneiric on VirtualBox, and in a 64-bit upgrade from Natty to Oneiric on a MacbookPro3,1. Please let me know if I can supply more information to help debug this. Anki is completely unusable for me on Oneiric right now.
