Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kvm
By default, my Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop suspends and resumes flawlessly in Feisty. After loading the kvm and kvm-intel kernel modules, the laptop will seemingly suspend correctly but not properly resume. When I try to resume, the screen shows a console with "Li" in the top-left corner. This is normal, but that is only meant to flash for a second before X is re-initialised. In this case, the system freezes at this point and is totally unresponsive. I need to hold the power button down to turn it off. ** Affects: kvm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Cannot resume from suspend with kvm modules loaded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113038 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
