I suspected this could be related to the PAE kernel, and wanted to see if this had been corrected in the latest version, so I asked someone with the hardware to test this. I'm posting the following on behalf of someone else who has tested this hardware:
-Using the 11.04 32-bit Live CD, after choosing suspend, the machine freezes at checking the battery state as OK. -The machine is not responsive to inputs and can only be shut down ungracefully. -This is a regression as earlier versions, perhaps the previous release (Ubuntu 10.04) supported suspend properly on the GIGABYTE P35-DS3L -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/601692 Title: Crash on suspend/resume (desktop computer) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/601692/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
