Ah, I have realized my error. I apologize: the kernel is
2.6.38-11-server, not 2.6.28-11-server. The other information still
stands. Can this bug be triaged or reviewed please? Thank you.

** Description changed:

  Ubuntu 11.04 Server, x64

Upon booting the kernel from GRUB, I constantly receive the error: i2c
i2c-2 sendbytes: NAK bailout. This happens in normal and recovery mode.
The error loops until I halt the system. This just started tonight; I've
- been on 2.6.28-11-server for awhile.
+ been on 2.6.38-11-server for awhile.

I am unsure how to further troubleshoot this. I cannot boot into the
  system at all.

I tried to find a more specific package (such as the specific package
- for 2.6.28-11-server), but I was unsuccessful. Please reassign this as
+ for 2.6.38-11-server), but I was unsuccessful. Please reassign this as
  needed. Thank you.
