** Description changed:

I was upgrading from 6.06 to 6.10 when the update manager aborted/threw
an error with a failed package install. I got this abort error twice
already. Every time I got the abort message, I also got a popup 'error'
dialog with the error 'Could not load icon' and with the details "Icon
  'panel-force-quit' not found".

  Best Regards,
  Prashanth

+ EDIT: Identified the issue. I had create a widget on the panel to 'force
+ kill' an open application. Apparently after the upgrade / failed upgrade
+ the icon has been deleted and hence the error. I don't know when the
+ error recurs, probably every time the panel is refreshed/rebuilt.
