Hi mholzapfel, Looking at your dmesg I notice that the GPU hung error is the last entry in your log, which makes me wonder if your machine hung during shutdown of your previous session? Near as I can tell this is not a dupe of bug #828684 (the general False GPU lockup), so this may be worth further investigation.
Is it possible your system had hung on the prior boot and you power cycled it? Or, perhaps it hung during shutdown and you just powered it off? ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/852918 Title: [sandybridge-m-gt2] False GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x02000004 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/852918/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
