In today's daily build Ubiquity had /dev/zram0 as a default device to install the OS. WTF?!
Also, I've put together a zram-based swap that automatically scales across several CPUs and automatically adapts to the amount of RAM available. It's based on upstart instead of initramfs, and seems to work fine for me. I haven't tested package upgrade though, so it might be buggy.
