I reported bug 853618, which is a duplicate of this bug and contains a more complete stack trace. Like this bug, I do not yet know if it can be reproduced with gnome-settings-daemon 3.1.92. (I do not know what specific steps triggered the bug in the first place, so it would be difficult for me to attempt to reproduce it deliberately.) I am not sure if my stack traces are sufficient to enable a developer to determine if the bug is still present in version 3.1.92, so I am not changing this bug's status back from Incomplete on the basis of this, but perhaps that should be done.
Bug 853618's symbolically retraced nearly complete stack traces: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/80299474/Stacktrace.txt https://launchpadlibrarian.net/80299475/ThreadStacktrace.txt The stack traces in the other two public duplicate (bug 834284) look pretty good too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/845051 Title: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in g_main_context_dispatch() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/845051/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
