Ubuntu 11.04: Update packages till date

Pre-condition:
1. check the date by clicking the indicator-datetime (shows date as 24th Sept)
2. suspend Ubuntu until next day
3. resume the Ubuntu
4. repeat the step 1

Expected outcome:
Shows previous day's date as 24th Sept

Actual Outcome:
Should show 25th Sept

Note: first time it shows as 24th and it shows 25th for later checkings
