Hi I remember that when i first installed Oneiric on my Macbook Pro 8,2 sometime in June, it did not work, i've tried previous kernels and i don't know how, but its working on all of them. Attached is the output of lspci, dmesg and a couple of other commands that might help you. Let me know if you require any other info.
