Further information - the following is generally what I always see: 1) Double-click on desktop shortcut, Calc opens with empty spreadsheet 2) Trying to open the file using the shortcut filename, i.e. /home/username/Desktop/filename.ods from the Recent Documents list will not open the file 3) Trying to then open the file using its full name, i.e. /home/username/Documents/filename.ods from the Recent Documents list will open file in a new program window but I also see that in the first program window it is not possible to close the empty spreadsheet using the "x" in the top-right corner as the "x" isn't now displayed.
But if I omit step 2 file opens in the existing Calc window as it should when using the Recent Documents list Further information to follow as I find it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/849508 Title: [Upstream] Double clicking on .ods file opens Calc but does not load file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/849508/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
