Sorry, the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/20110930 /oneiric-desktop-i386.iso is no longer available. However, I tried with the latest image I have. I used zsync to synchronize the image: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/oneiric- desktop-i386.iso on Mon Oct 3 12:40:01 CST 2011. With this image, I still see the same problem.
