Hello: I understand your position, but this is the only case where I encounter the problem. Other programs correctly open Firefox (my chosen browser). Even Konqueror opens Firefox when I double-click an HTML file. It's not a matter of my not being able to change my default browser to one of my choice; it's that the bug reporting system doesn't recognize my choice, whereas all the other programs that open browsers *do* recognize it. That, to me, suggests that it is the program that is doing it, not some missed setting (though of course, it could be something like that as well - there are plenty of settings for me to play with).
Not to worry. Konqueror is a fine browser, one of the best. It's not like it was trying to open IE or something... -B ----- Original Message ----- Subject: [Bug 113480] Re: Programs using Launchpad open the wrong browser Date: Thu, May 10, 2007 9:24 From: "Markus Thielmann" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I can't reproduce this behavior (even with Konqueror installed). > > This does not appear to be a bug report and we are closing it.
