Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
Previously, in edgy, sk98lin and sky2 drivers had most of the hardware they supported in common. As a result, when blacklisting one, the other would automatically be used on my system. A most welcome situation given that sky2, while adding support for a number of devices not supported by sk98lin, has been quite unreliable and full of bugs. Unfortunately, in feisty's 2.6.20-15 sk98lin appears stripped of many pci ids it used to have before, including the one of my network card (11ab:4362). Please re-add the pci ids removed since edgy. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- sk98lin network driver missing pci ids https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
