Public bug reported:

What I expected to happen:

By choosing the guest session option (either from the login screen or
the user menu when logged in to a normal account) a guest session should
be launched.

What happened instead:

By choosing either method, the screen goes blank for a moment before I
am returned to the login screen.

Looking at the logs, it looks like the guest "/home" is created in /tmp,
but for whatever reason it can't be used. At first I thought it was due
to the apparmor profile for the guest session, since it throws up a lot
of denied entries, but even after putting that profile in complain
mode, the issue persists.
