Public bug reported: That's ubuntu oneric (development branch) 11.10 installation from 2Gb usb "thumb drive" ~2Gb fat32 partition on it. Installation media was made by unetbootin on windows
That is supposed to be installation on a system with UEFI and GPT partition table. I've previously created GPT using gdisk and formated: - "EFI Boot" (256 mb) as fat32 - Microsoft Reserved Partition (as MS describes it) - empty small patrition (just in case) - Linux swap (4Gb) which I selected for swap in installer - 60Gb partition not for linux - root partition for Gentoo (which I know better) - ubuntu root patrition (which I selected in installer as / and asked to format it as reiserfs and where previous unsuccessfull installation of beta-2 root partition was). Installation said that it can't install shotoweel (or something like this) and after a while it said that there's a "bug" somwhere :) and opened this browser window for me. I'm sorry but I can't attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman becouse there's no gui controlls for starting "Terminal" or "Gedit" or anything, so I'll add them (/var/log/installer/syslog and /var/log/installer/partman) later.
