Public bug reported:

I have a dual screen set up with slightly different resolutions, i.e.
external screen is 1920x1200 and the laptop screen is 1920x1080. Taking
pictures with the built-in screenshot tool results in a black image with
just the mouse pointer showing.

But what makes it a serious problem is that the gnome-screenshot stays
resident (after Cancel) and pegs one CPU thread to 100%. After a few
attempts of taking screen shots, the whole CPU was maxed out! (see
attached system-monitor image)

BTW, the screen shots were taken with shutter -- just in case anyone was
wondering :)
