Hi have this same problem. When i add the SD Card in the reader it is not recognized by the system. It work fine on 11.04.
I guess this is some problem in an major component because i had the same problem in the beta versions of Fedora 16 and OpenSUSE 12.1 What i have being able to determine is that the device was detected and the proper driver was loaded, but when i insert the card in the reader nothing happens.
