Me? I have no opinion :) maybe it's and undefined behaviour in the standard.

Of course I don't know your requirements but IMO you should have a second look 
at
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS == 64, the LFS and use standard C files functions.

As it's not really a glibc I'm rejecting it.
