Public bug reported: When using the "Follow mouse pointer" mouse focus setting (in the Global Terminator Preferences), a newly opened split window/area will not gain focus. It appears that new splits are being focused only when "Follow mouse pointer" is not being used as focus method. I am not using this focus method globally in Gnome.
TESTCASE: 1. Open terminator 2. Configure "Follow mouse pointer" mouse focus setting 3. Press Ctrl-Shift-e 4.
