I am experiencing a very similar problem. Banshee started once, after the fresh setup of ubuntu 11.10. I designated my music location for banshee and was able to play mp3s. Since that first start, banshee doe not start up again, does not play music an produces error-messages as posted in the attachment. The messages ahve been recieved using the bash command: banshee --debug. I did not manually work in any configuration data or changed any settings within banshee.
