I'm not sure how one would change a bug reqport into a support request, although in future, that is probably the correct forum for this type of request (which would become a bug once the correct package and problem had been identified). Looking at a few things, if you're running GNOME, try running `gksu network-admin`, and make sure your physical devices are not set to Roaming mode. Also, check your proxy settings (`gnome- network-preferences`), and any proxy configuration for Firefox or wget, as this may be a cause.
