My problem was not so much with the display as it is with the
microphone. Everything has been set up exactly as it was on 11.04 but
the sound is inaudible (it sounds like a chipmunk on speed).
If you require any particular logs, please let me know how to retrieve
them and I will post them (apologies but I am a total linux newb).
