Attached is a .fdi file which makes HAL detect the player as music
player. It is based on the contents of the standard 10-usb-music-
players.fdi . After putting this file into /etc/hal/fdi/information,
restarting HAL, and plugging in the player, it was displayed with Ipod
icon, and Rythmbox was opened.

Could you add this fdi info to the HAL package in Dapper?
