My problem is looking like this one. After dist-upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10, I have a red icon in the unity panel sayng I have broken packages. Poping update-manager to look for update pops a partial-upgrade window. After staring it, it stops then say there is no partial upgrade available. apt-get install -f shows no broken packages apt-get update && apt-get upgrade always successful, only update-manager fails. The red icon remains.
In my apt.log, I have the same message than Jordan :"ERROR:root:NvidiaDetection returned a error: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'datadir' MarkUpgrade() called on a non-upgrable pkg: 'brasero' ERROR:root:Upgrading 'brasero' failed" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/847860 Title: can't compleat partal upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/847860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
