It is about ranting instead of contributing. Do you actually think I am *NOT* aware of the fact that the TeX Live versions in Debian (Ubuntu) are outdated? But how many of the 124 people on this bug report, or for the record, on *all* the bug reports concerning TeX, have *contributed*? There are simply a few options: - do it yourself if you are in great need - pay someone to do it for you - wait until someone does it for you Enjoy.
